D turned Two!!!

D truned two on the seventeenth!... We had some friends and family over for hotdogs and hamburgers, and we had ice cream and CAKE! D has gotten so big. This past year has been kind of tough with my parents divorce and the struggles of going to school. But we have our own sort of fun, when we have time. Some of D's favorite things to do is watch ELMO!!! Elmo, Elmo, Elmo and yes... Elmo!!!! He loves trucks, singing, sqweezed hugs, slobbery kisses, and reading books. Some of his favorite things to say are "i wob you.", "Weecy-Roo", "O-MA's HOUSE!","I See You" "Ta-DA!", and my personal favorite is when he calls for his dad "DAN,... O DAN!!! Where You?" Kids say the darndest things.
My favorite story this year isn'y the best of all stories, but one day he was driving his car around outside and was turning a bit sharp, when he calmly says "Oh, chit", as the car tumbles over!
That story is one that has mostly been mentioned when we're around friends hanging out late and the kid is asleep. Well, everybody ....CHEERS to the stories that are never forgotten....
P.S. One day when he is dating someone he'll be bragging about how he was a little cute kid, and he'll find his favorite thigs and mommy's favorite story will be in his remeber book!

It was so good to have a few friends over. Katie and Mia came over for a movie and we ended up having dinner and visiting. It was tons of fun catching up with Katie, she was in my NA Training course this summer and we spent four days out of the week in that class. D was trying to play peek a boo and all of a sudden we all looked over and Mia was rolling D around!!! lol! I know I haven't been very loyal to our blog, but oh well life happens...ya learn to accept it.... toodles!!! :) til next time! Yah know you really don't realize how big they get until after you look at your pictures of them...

I'm a CNA!!!

I passed my test with an 85%!!!! yay! I didn't really have time to study for it since the moving and everything was kind of overwhelming. I did however say a little prayer in the middle of the test! So I can't take moist of the credit! I will get my CNA certificate within a week. We went to a baseball game afterwards and then went to a mexican restaurant called Jaliscos!! Yummy! Well good luck to anyone who is taking that course. I suggest Shirley Bame as the teacher if your in the area. She is the best! There is a ton of book work! So good luck at the skills tho-

We are finally moved into the apartment. I like our neighborhood. There is a little construction because the city is widening the road. My boss has been out of town this entire week so wasn't able to get any time off. Although it's given me the ability to slowly go through and think of what we want to keep and what to throw away. I'm getting tired of the manager at Lane Bryant because she keeps putting me an hour before I get off at work study. Just a little irritating. I've been thinking about quiting for a while maybe this is the right time. we'll see. toodles.

So this friday is the big day!!! I am so excited to be moving into Ammon. For one thing it's going to save me so much gas! Latley because I've been having to go into Idaho Falls everyday now for the past three months. It'll be nice to go home and only have to drive ten minutes instead of thirty!! the only thing is that I have to study this week for my State Board written, so i think it'll be one of the slowest moves I've ever done. We haven't decided to move all the stuff from the shop first and go through it there, or move all our essentials and then move the rest of the stuff, a few boxes at a time.
I know my family is a little confused about when I'm going to be a CNA. So I'll explain it a little better. I took a Nurses Assistant Training Course from EITC and from the class I had two skills situations (I & II) I passed both of those and a final exam. Now I am an NA (Nurses Assistant) but in order to become a CNA I have to pass the State Board Exams first. I took the State skills exam almost two weeks ago, and on wed the 22 of july I will be able to take my written. I have to get 65% of them correct out of 75 questions. Then I will be a CNA. We are so excited !!!!

Sorry, been way too BUSY!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while it's been crazy!
My CNA class is over next week and then its off to the state skills exam. It's amazing how much I've missed out on! The past six weeks have been the fastest few weeks ing a long time. There was a lot of bookwork. Dan is the best husband! He stayed up with me until three in the morning helping me with my last few chapters. We went to Craters Of The Moon, wow, it was so pretty. Janeil, Heather, Monte, Ian and grandma just got back from the Alaskan Cruise they went to. They brought home some goodies. The boys were able to get a 21 lb, 18 lb and 15 lb fish while they were in Jueau. Tammy has moved into Idaho falls. And FINALLY !!! Dan D and I are movingg out! We are moving to Ammon!!! I can't wait to make a huge mess!!! wah-hahahahahaha!!! Dan and I have enjoyed our ward so much. I am going to miss the kiddos in nursery. They always make me smile when it comes to sister Christensen. She comes to our class and does some chilrens songs! The actions these kids have with the songs are so cute! My favorite time was when we were sitting by Preston, who is two this year. We are putting puzzles together and he starts humming the Star Wars Theme Song!!!!! hahahahaha Dan and I were laughing so hard! Well I have to go. I guess I should be listening to my English class! hahha

Just some updates!

There's been a ton of things happening. Dan and I are excited to be looking for a place to live! We bought a car! I can't believe school is next month. I received a scholarship from my school scholarship foundation. I have to formally accept it at a ceremony held at the Shilo Inn on the 30th. My CNA course from start to end is about eight weeks long. I know I'm not very good at updating, but I will try. I am also excited that the store manager has decided to promote me. I have already started training. D is learning and growing so fast. This Easter we were planning to go down to Logandale, but with meetings - everything just was getting in the way. So i'm thinking of going down right after summer semester. That way I can take a breather!!!!

Cleaning Day!

Today we have all been cleaning. We cleaned the laundry room and bathroom, the family room, livingroom, study area and then took a little break. D was being so good at the computer. Usually he likes to press all the buttons in his reach!

These are some pictures from our vacation in Logandale. D was having a grand time making cinnamon rolls with his grandma! Man that boy can hog the popcorn. But thats ok cuz it bothers me to have to pickout all the kernal skins from my teeth. We all had so much fun seeing everyonewe were able to see! I wish I had more time to see some more tho!!! Ben has a little girlfriend, I can't remeber her name, but she was a sweetheart. He gave her a ninja turtle shirt for christmas, and we got to meet her and her mom Christmas Eve.

D was really intimidated by Cash (one of the family dog). We put Chuck in the back and had to keep him there. His ears were hurting and he didn't like D pulling on them.

D loves taking baths. The best part is when we are in the process of filling the tub he will get in and turn on the shower, although it makes it hard to know when I can take a picture.

D had so much fun with gary and Viki's phone all night. He loves to call random people. The funniest thing happens when he has it on speaker phone and presses redial!!! lol! This visit was tons and tons of fun thanks everybody for letting us visit!

My favorite Picture

I love this picture! He is always so giggly before nap time, but I never get the chance to take a picture of it! It was taken this afternoon, I while I was downloading other photos!!!

D hasn't been himself lately and we found out why when two new molars came in overnight! It's so scarry how much he looks like my brothers.

This is the back view. It says Kunz-Heather, Dan E., S. Ian, La Monte. This is a closer view of the front of the bench. It was suppose to have a saying on it about stay a while and sit with us, but the people who built it couldn't get the wording right. It took them several different times to get it right. I think one time they forgot Janeil all together.

Heather keeps putting chocolate coverred cinnamon bears and eventually a little spuirrel dug a hole near the tree to the left. You can't see it in the picture, but most of the time there was just the wrappers left the next time we visited.

This is the front view. We didn't want Janeil's Birth date to be on there-yet-because everyone has their full name on the back. That way, because none of the kids have gone yet, no one can steal their identities. (Sorensen is her maiden name)

Picture DAY!!!

Here are some pictures of D's first birthday! He had a hard time blowing out his candle! So Dan and I had to help, just a little. (I made the cake!!!) Usually he is great eater I think he was just being shy because everyone was taking his picture!

It's been a year!

There has been a lot of things going on at our house. Most of us have been doing really well with our resolutions. Dan and I want to have our own little family home eveings, since we are the nursery leaders in our ward. I love participating in the nursery. They only have little attention spands, and it gives me an excuse for giving them treats. It's been a growing experience.

D turned one this last December and this is one of our pictures. We have the JCPennys Club Card. It gives us really great deals for portraits. It's twenty dollars to sign up and you never have to pay sitting fees. It only lasts about two years. This was the suit D wore when we went to the temple. I have some other patterns for suits for him, but I never seem to sit down. ~UPDATES!!! D has learned to go up and down the stairs! We made sure that he could do that shortly after he started walking. It amazes me how fast he learns and grows. He is not quite as tall as the nursery kids. But I'm glad that he shares!!

Dan's cousin Audrey is getting married again. I am so happy for them!!! And Amy (Audrey's sister) is having twins!!! Man-o-Man!!! she is due Sept. 8! (she's a doctor). Well there is a lot going on right now so I better update some stuff and get going before D wakes up. Toodles!!!
