It took us what seemed like forever to get here, but the snow did not stop us! We're staying with my folks for the Christmas week. I haven't seen any of them since March this year.

Today was the BiG Day!!!

We took some pictures outside the temple today, but I always forget how to load them, so one day I will post them. We were officially a forever family this morning at eleven. It was really exciting because the temple president Christiansen presided over our sealing. He made the experience so much more than expected and I am really greatful for such a wonderful family to behold. We didn't take many pictures, because we are planning to take some later professionally. Hopefully we will be able to get the whole family together. I was disappointed that my side of the family wasn't able to come, but I know they wanted to (and I was determined to not let it get to me as I thought of them). D was asleep the entire time! But everyone said that he played very cute with all the workers!
I was able to go to a Movie night held by our Relief Society on Friday night. We all came in our Pajama's and watched the Emma Smith movie. I really liked some of the advise she gave her daughter. Something made me feel like I should try and remeber. I can't remember exactly what she said but it was something .... Strength doesn't come all at once. It comes one day at a time....She also made some awesome analogies about the river. I can't exactly remember those either, but I wrote them in my journal and I would suggest the movie to anyone who isn't having the best time in their life.

It's NOT something that made me think "O-Gee, I know my troubles will never be that hard."
I kept thinking there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, and I left feeling -- if she can go through all of that on her faith than I must be able to get through this if i know I can!!!

I appreciate anyone who came and supported us today, near and far! We love you. Thanks!!!

Just a little Update...

So here are some awesome things that are happening! I stood up for myself at Dress Barn. I just can't work for a store manager who, has no experience in management, hired three of her friends, and I still can't believe that she hired her little sister. (All within two months)
I am now employed at Lane Bryant officially on Monday when I clock in. They hired me on the spot. I am only some seasonal help, cause I think I'll like to see how selling tupperware will work!!! hahaha ...I will be taking a COMPASS test at nine am at EITC tomorrow. Which is the Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls. I will be turning that in to ISU as well. I still have to fill out FAFSA paperwork - work in progress. Dan is doing some work on the side for a member of our ward. Just a couple of hours a day, helping remodel a house. I did get an offer on our truck. I am hopefull that it will go through. And D is walking all over the place. A couple of days ago three top teeth came through!!! So hopefully I can get some restand he will take his nas without a fuss!!! hahaha Gotta love him!

So, I might get a promo!?!?!

So our DSM (District Sales Manager) came into town in September. The time before that she quized me on all of Dress Barn's acrinims. I totally failled!!! But when she came back last month I was ready. When my shift ended I was being a smaty-pants and told her that I was all ready and everything, but she didnt quiz me that time. So, she made me do it anyway and after a few minutes, she said do you have C.A.T.H.Y. B.A.S.I.C.S. down and (I wasn't because 1-she didn't quiz me on that last time and 2-its a long one!!!!!!) for CATHY there is six steps to a cathy sale and then there the BASICS.
Well when everything was said and done, I was challenged to do a presentation on the CATHY BASICS of a Cathy sale. So next week I have my presentation and when I had talked to her on the phone saturday, she was very interested at what I put together. I asked what is an insentive for doing this and she said that she will bring her camera, and anyone who is added to the trsaining videos, would have to be in managment. Currently we have a possition available, but I don't know if i want the responsibility????... I'm having a really hard time being away from D more than Dan and Janeil. It always breaks my heart that he tends to them more than me.
What to do?

SNOW!!!!

What are you looking at?
Uncle Ian

Janeil was cooking dinner and as she was clearing off the island, the caramel popcorn fell onto a box and D wouldn't let it go.

yummm!

Ian walked through the door and almost took it away!

Uh-oh! Did I say Almost?

This morning, D was eating some pancakes! And behind him is four inches of snow! We are suppose to get five to six inches before tuesday!!!
Monte and D... So handsome!
twirlling!
Monte teasing D with a turtle from Jamaica
Monte tickling D's nose!

Monte's TURN!!!

This weekend has been so much fun. Today at church D desided to sing with us in Relief Society. He needs to work on his pitch, but their is so much more time for that a later in life. We all needed a weekend to get together. Monte came down Friday. Gavin and Troy came down that night and we all played Trivial Pursuit Millenium. We played girls against boys and the girls won. Saturday night Gavin and Troy left. Sunday night Ian came up with Danielle and Kacey. Then we played games all night. I'm getting tired and I have to work in the morning! Toodles.

D is WALKING!!!

This is our new adventure!!!

The Stroller Park

Ta Da!!!

conquered the Lady Bug!!

Today was Grandma Sorensen's Birthday! So we went to a Birthday Brunch together @ Shari's. Thier food is yummy. Afterward me, Dan and D went to Dress Barn to see if my paycheck was in yet but it wasn't. So we all went across the street to the mall to pass time. (It's kind of like driving to Mesquite from Logandale. 20 minutes give or take from Shelley to Idaho Falls.) When we had seen everything, we ended up sitting in a "Stroller Park." I loved it! At first all D wanted to do was play with the stroller. Only when a couple of other kids came to play as well, D took of and started crwling under the bridge and through the log and under the tree and all over the lady bug. He was so cute today. It was kind of nice to just watch him play and not have to worry about him getting hurt or eating the grass.

Underneath the tree!

Dan's mom Left Today

Monte graduated in June this year. So in celebration Janeil and Mont are going on a cruise this saturday for a week. They will be going to Ocho Rio, Jamaca. Monte took a scuba diving class his last semester so he signed up for some scuba diving somewhere along the Caman Islands. I'm not sure if Janeil cancelled her submarine dive or not. i guess they have a sub that will hold up to 30 people. Mom and 30 strangers don't mix. She left this morning because her flight to Miami leaves early in the morning from Salt Lake City. Then she has a three hour lay-over in Chicago. When she gets to Miami there will be a guy that will have her name on it, to pick her up. He will then take her to the Hilton and then on saturday she sails away.

We are however worried that the three hurricanes (heading right for thier path) might be somewhat of a problem. We hope she travels in safety and comes home so I can post some pictures of her trip.

Bye Mom!

Anners tagged me!

Rules: Name 5 random things about yourself, then tag 5 people. Make sure you comment on their blog to let them know they have been tagged! (I will be so good at this!)

1- Dan and I are going through the temple on Valentines Day 2009! We are so excited to become a family forever. I have never wanted something more in my life, than to go through the temple.

2- I love Batman. I have a two foot tall action figure...but it's not displayed anywhere. I have always loved batman since I was a kid. Every once in a while when my house is clean I like to get some white cheddar cheetos and veg out on a couch for a whole day and watch the animated Batman series. I have a friend named Batman. She is awesome.

3- I am finally getting into the Harry Potter books. I justed started the first one a couple of weeks ago. It's not that I don't like to read it's just that everytime I get into it D starts crawling off somewhere I can't see him. So it takes me forever to get through a book.

4- I love shopping. Especially for interior designing stuf. I was really happy that we had received like three different and random pieces to different bathroom sets. When we got back from our honeymoon I went out to finish atleast one of the collections. I just love to decorate. (we...I finished all three)

5- Sometimes when I get really just frustrated with life Dan gives me a cup full of jello and a straw. Be careful you can choke. But D thinks its so hilarious!!!

I tag...Jessica H, Jessica L, Meliss, Lindsi, and Krysta

Update

This week has been a lot of fun. Tuesday Tammy and her boys came up to stay the week with us. Ian came up on Friday evening with his dogs and Monte came up friday afternoon. We were all able to fit in the hot tub last night. It was installed friday morning. Everyone is so excited to be able to use it this winter. It's already getting time for me to use a blanket when the windows are open. Burr! I can't believe summer is over. Dan still hasn't had any luck finding a job. and D is wanting to walk already. I can't believe he will be nine months in three weeks! Time flys when your having fun!

A tooth

D would not go to bed the other night and we ended up satying up half the night, but it wasn't all for nothing. The next morning, when I went to feed our little guy, he had his first tooth break through. I haven't been able to get a good picture of it because he likes to stick out his tounge!

Fam comes to Visit!!

My Dad is making a trip to Montana to pick up some Being Cherries! My mom called and asked if Dad could come stay the night. Well of course we welcomed them and I suggested that mom could come up and stay the night and then Dan could drive with dad and mom could stay with me. I'm so excited to see them it's feels like forever since I've seen them. The last time I saw them was on march 19. D has grown so much since then. Oooo I can't wait. I'll post how it went!

Twin Falls...An awesome Time

We went down to Twin Falls. Dan's cousin Emily was visiting his Uncle Kay and Aunt Saundra who live in Twin Falls. It was so hilarious to see all the kids playing with each other. We stopped by Gosners Cheese Factory. We got some flavored milk, cheese curds, and many different kinds of cheese. It was really good milk. They had some Root Beer, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavores. I don't think I've mentioned this but D is starting to crawl and is really curious how his cousins are walking. The other day he discovered the cubboards and figured out how to open them. But he was all over and everywhere in their livingroom. Shara was there for a little while, and we are all excited for Ian to get hitched. Especially since he'll be having a pink wedding! Ian doesn't really care though as long as he doesn't have to wear pink. After we left Twin we had stopped by Ian's for a while and visited him with the puppies. D loves copper! Copper is a playful Basset Hound and D loves it when he licks his toes and fingures!!!Today was an awesome day!

Our crew went to the Biggest Show in Idaho for the fourth of july. It was fun. Gavin was able to get us in for free if we brought him something to eat and a sprite. It was kind of hot so we sat underneath the stage. We got to park our truck inside the fairgrounds and unfortunately people started to set up their stuff right next to our truck. One of their kids came up to Dan and asked if he could have some of our food.
Lately DE has been slobbering and starting to make noises. I think his fav is sticking out his tounge, and blowing raspberries at us. He is so cute.

First anniversary of Gene's passing.

Dan Sr--Dans grandpa, Dan Jr.--Dans dad (Gene), Dan III--my husband, Dan IV--our son (D.E.) Here's the thing. kind of creepy. Gene was born when Dan Sr was thirty. Dan was born when Gene was thirty and D.E. was born when Dan was thirty. funny! It's been a full year today that Gene passed away. Janiel didn't want to just go by herself, so she invited everyone to go with her. I can't because it's inventory at the store and that means it's mandatory. I'm kind of glad cuz I, I feel ...I don't know how to describe it. Maybe a little out of place. I have no idea, but it feels wierd to me to go and leave flowers on someone's grave one year after another. I want anyone who reads this to understand that Gene was a wonderful man, and from what I've heard he was really an amazing person. But his funeral was only an hour long. Not because there wasn't much to say but because that's what he wanted. I didn't get to know him all that much, but i'm happy that I'll get to know him later.

Tonight is also the night that Shara (Ian's fiance!!!!) get's her traditional ruby necklace. Mine is heart-shaped ruby with gold around it.
Shara's necklace is a journey setting-sort-of.(tried to put pictures up but there was an error. I'll try again later.) I'm so excited for them. Ian used to be a real grump. Now I can see him smiling and I'm so happy for the two of them. Everyone's betting on dates. I heard on the radio that the eighth of August (08-08-08) is going to be the busiest day to get married because #8 is a chinese proverb for wealth! $$$$$
